Support for your breastfeeding journey
Expertly crafted one-to-one lactation care and advice to help you and your little one through this stage of life
Why might you need a lactation consultant?
Breastfeeding is a natural process, but that doesn't mean it always comes naturally. Every parent and baby are unique, and many families experience challenges along the way. Whether you're preparing before your baby arrives, feeding a newborn, or navigating changes as your baby grows, getting the right support can make a real difference.
You don't have to wait until you're struggling to seek help. Many parents find that early guidance gives them confidence and helps prevent small concerns from becoming bigger challenges.
You may benefit from seeing a lactation consultant if you are experiencing:
Painful breastfeeding or damaged nipples.
Difficulty getting your baby to latch or stay attached to the breast.
Concerns about milk supply, whether you feel you have too little or too much.
A baby who is slow to gain weight or seems unsettled after feeds.
Frequent blocked ducts or mastitis.
Breastfeeding after a tongue-tie assessment or procedure.
Feeding twins or multiples.
Returning to work and planning to express milk.
Combination feeding or transitioning between breast and bottle.
Questions about feeding an older baby or toddler.
Simply wanting reassurance that breastfeeding is going well.
How I can help
As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) / lactation consultant, I provide personalised, evidence-based support tailored to you, your baby, and your family's goals. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to breastfeeding, and together we will find solutions that work for your individual situation.
During a consultation, I will take time to understand your concerns, observe a feed where appropriate, assess what may be contributing to any difficulties, and provide practical, achievable recommendations. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, build confidence, and leave with a clear plan that feels right for you.
My support is compassionate, non-judgemental, and centred on your feeding goals. Whether you want to exclusively breastfeed, combination feed, express milk, or simply make feeding more comfortable and enjoyable, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Whatever stage of your feeding journey you're at, you don't have to work it out alone. With the right support, many breastfeeding challenges can be overcome, helping you and your baby enjoy a more comfortable and positive feeding experience.
